Harry Browne
Lite kloka ord från Harry Browne, från hans bok ”New Profits From The Monetary Crisis” (1978)
Investment philosophy:
Make your decisions based upon what you are, not what you or someone else thinks you should be.
Let the market (and the world) tell you how things are unfolding; be receptive to reality as it is, not just as you had expected it to be.
Recognize in advance the losses you can´t afford to take, and don´t accept a liability you can´t handle.
Remember that things may not work out as you anticipate. If you make sure that potential losses are covered, you´ll be free to relax and enjoy what you have.
Don´t be afraid to be wrong; admitting a mistake is far cheaper than perpetuating it.
When your decisions prove to be right, exploit your success fully. Enjoy it, bask in it, get all you can from what you´ve achieved. Don´t be so afraid that a small profit will get away that you miss the chance for a big profit.
